The Research Executive position is ideal for someone who is seeking to commence their career in advertising and communications, particularly those who have a passion for insight development, understanding human behaviour, brand building and creative thinking. Given the nature of our work, we are looking to hear from applicants who have either recently gained a Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities or Marketing/Advertising/Communications degree, or who possess some relevant commercial experience within either the healthcare, market research or advertising sectors.

We work hard to ensure our campaigns and solutions are driven by unique insight, stand out from the crowd and truly make a difference in the world. Within this position, you will have the opportunity to really take ownership of projects and ultimately, inform the brand marketing strategy for our global pharmaceutical clients. Research and insight development is a significant part of this role – you will work with a range of scientific and healthcare related information whilst also liaising with senior professionals in the field. You will research and analyse the digital and social landscape, conduct category and competitor reviews and dive deep into understanding the behaviours of different audiences. You’ll develop good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, receiving training which allows you to both support and lead in primary and secondary research projects – you can expect to collate reports, delivering key recommendations that help direct our client’s brand strategy. There will also be an element of client contact inherent with this position as you will be responsible for conveying your recommendations to both internal and external parties, this could be in the delivery of research findings or in the pitching of ideas to secure new business.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a recent graduate with a 2:1 degree classification or higher in a Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Marketing/Advertising/Communications, History, Mathematics or similar
  • Display a keen interest in brand strategy, human behaviour, insight and creativity
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent initiative, lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and a passion for inspiring others
  • Display very strong organisational and time management skills
  • Be professional, approachable and confident in sharing their ideas
